Reimagine's mission is to help all people face adversity, loss, and mortality, and channel the hard parts of life into meaningful action and growth. Reimagine faced an issue early on in their organization where they had to manage multiple programs that did not communicate with each other, resulting in a lot of manual work being done.
The solution was a Laravel application that helped communicate with multiple API clients to help save time for the Reimagine staff. The application tied Squadup API and their craft based site for submitting and displaying events. With the original workflow the customer would submit events via a Google form and the staff would then add the event via Squadup’s dashboard, create tickets for that event and then also create the event via their craft based website. The application simplified this whole process by allowing customers to submit their event via a portal. The submitted event stays in queue for the Reimagine staff to review and either decline and approve.After approval, the application utilizes Squadup's API to automatically create the event with all the necessary details such as date, time, location, and ticket pricing. It also generates unique tickets for the event which can be customized to match the event's theme or branding. Additionally, the application also provides organizers with real-time analytics and reporting tools, allowing them to track ticket sales, revenue, and attendance.
Once the event has been created, the application then submits the event to the craft-based website, where it is displayed to end-users. The website is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for customers to browse and search for events based on location, category, and date. The application also includes a feature for event organizers to manage their events, update event details, and communicate with attendees.
Overall, the Laravel application has streamlined the event management process for Reimagine, saving the staff time and effort while also providing a better experience for customers and organizers. By automating tasks such as event creation, ticketing, and reporting, the application has eliminated the need for manual work and has enabled Reimagine to scale their operations efficiently. The integration with Squadup's API and the craft-based website has also improved the visibility and accessibility of events, leading to increased attendance and revenue. The success of the application has been reflected in positive feedback from both customers and staff, and Reimagine plans to continue improving the application to meet the evolving needs of their business.
